Harrysong Reconciles With Step Mother At Father’s Funeral.

Singer Harrison Tare Okiri, famously known as Harrysong reconciled with his step mum, Mrs. Tonye Okiri at his father’s burial in Warri Delta state yesterday, May 2.

The burial, which turned out a carnival, also served as an opportunity for Harrysong and his step mother to bury their long hatchet. Before the burial commenced proper, elders of the Okiri family called a family meeting with Harrysong and his step mom in attendance where they were both advised to sheath their swords.

The reconciliation didn’t end there as the singer further made it public during his performance, where he sang a special rendition of his song, ‘Story’ to the delight of his kinsmen and the crowd in attendance.

Recall that a few months ago Harrysong released a song titled Story, where he told the story of his life as well as the harsh treatment he received from his step mom. The whole story was yesterday re-written, when he performed another version of the song and said his step mother, showed him love.

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members currently moving to the All Progressives Congress (APC) after the latter’s victory at the presidential, National Assembly and gubernatorial elections across the country have been called political harlots.

This was said by a PDP member in the House of Representatives representing Ondo East-Ondo West Federal Constituency, Hon Joseph Akinlaja, who told any member thinking of switching sides to rethink, adding that the defeat of the party at the polls did not mean that the party had collapsed.

According to report from the website of Nigerian Police Force, The operatives of the Department of Criminal Investigation, Ado-Ekiti have arrested one Familola Ayodeji ‘m’ of No. 17, Oke Ido Street, Ido-Ekiti aged 25 years for the rape of an 85 year old woman on the 25th December, 2014.

The victim, a great grandmother was asleep when the suspect sneaked into her room, bolted the door and forcefully took advantage of her. The suspect initially went into hiding after the act but was caught in the dragnet spread for him by detectives.

Medical report confirmed that the victim was raped by the suspect, he will soon be charged to court.

The Hollywood star actress Melanie Griffith literally grew up with the “King of the Jungle” as her BFF, Page Six reports.

As a teenager, Melanie shared her home with a lion named Neil. The big cat came to reside with Melanie when her famous parents, Tippi Hedren and step-father Noel Marshall, decided to do a film on the big cats.

In the 1970s, Life Magazine did a photo shoot of Neil and his adopted family. The photos showed the lion lounging around the house, playing in the pool, and getting itself a snack from the refrigerator. There were even photos of the lion sleeping in bed with Melanie.

Melanie and her entire family starred in the film, which was titled Roar. The film took 11 years to create, and unfortunately was a box-office flop. During the shooting of the movie, there were several cast and crew injuries, including Melanie Griffith. The actress had to have 50 stitches after being bit by a lion.

The idea for the film came about when Hedren and Marshall were filming a movie in Africa, and came across a house long abandoned and full of lions. After deciding to do the movie, they made the decision to get comfortable with the animals by bringing Neil into their home to raise alongside Melanie, Yahoo! News reports.

Roar was released in the early 1980s, and included 150 animals. The filming was tough on everyone. Griffith told the The Guardian during promotion of the film about how she got her famous face “torn open” by a lion and had 50 stitches.

“The lion didn’t mean to hurt me. Just, after seven years growing up with the lions I forgot you have to be careful. You can never be sure you’re safe and just a blow can pop your head like a ping pong ball,” Melanie told The Guardian.

Griffith and her family made sure that everyone knew that none of the animals were harmed during the filming, but that several humans, including Melanie, did end up in the hospital.

Animals are still a huge part of Melanie’s life. Her mother, now 85, runs an animal sanctuary called the Shambala Preserve. The sanctuary takes care of injured, mistreated, and neglected animals. The sanctuary is located in Acton, California. The sanctuary is run by the Hedren Roar Foundation, and Melanie is a member of the advisory board.

When it first unveiled Windows 10 last year, Microsoft

briefly talked about a new feature called Continuum, but back then it was in the context of switching UIs on convertible devices based on whether you have the keyboard connected or not. And Continuum can still do that, but today at its Build conference, the software giant has announced a more interesting use case, with Continuum for phones.

This kicks in when you connect a smartphone running

Windows 10 to a monitor. The UI you’ll see on the

monitor won’t just be a 1:1 representation of the

handset’s screen. Instead, the phone is basically turned into a makeshift PC, which will even work with a mouse and keyboard for interaction.

Initially, you see your phone’s Start screen on the left side of the monitor, but if you open a universal app that will take over the whole width of the monitor, as you can see from the screengrab above.

 So you’ll have no wasted space, and you’ll be able to do some work in a much easier way than if you were to simply glance at a representation of your phone’s screen.

Furthermore, all the usual PC keyboard commands will work in this mode, so you can use Ctrl+C for copying, Ctrl+V for pasting, and so on. Microsoft says it wants to let smartphones scale up to a full PC-like experience.

Unfortunately it looks like existing Windows Phones,

once updated to Windows 10, won’t be able to take

advantage of this feature. That’s because it requires new hardware in order to drive the dual-screen experience.

something similar a few years ago, but the Ubuntu for Android project flopped eventually – perhaps because it was trying to do more (run ‘full’ Ubuntu when the phone was docked), but also because it wanted to pair two different operating systems from two different companies on the same device. Court Sentences Igbinedion To Jail.

An aide of the ex-governor, Patrick Eboigbodin, was also jailed for 20 years for the same of offences.

The Punch however reports that governor’s brother has an option of paying N3m or N1m for each of the three counts on which he was found guilty to avoid going to jail. Eboigbodin’s sentencing on Thursday is without an option of fine.

The four companies are Gava Corporation Limited, Romrig Nigeria Limited, PML Securities Company Limited and PML Nigeria Limited.

Justice A.M. Liman found Michael guilty on counts 79, 80 and 81 of the alleged charges while Eboigbodin was found guilty on counts 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58 and 59.

The judge also ordered the forfeiture of the assets of PML Limited to the Federal Government. The company will also pay N250,000 fine.

Liman noted that the prosecution had proved the alleged collaboration by the accused beyond reasonable doubts but he discharged them all on the other count charges on the grounds that the prosecution failed to prove the allegations.

The judge further explained that the prosecution only proved suspicion but failed to prove illicit origin of funds deposited in the named banks.

The convicts were arraigned on 81-count charge bordering on money laundering. The  offences were committed between 1999 and 2007 when Lucky Igbinedion was the governor of Delta state.

4 MEMBERS of an international robbery gang suspected to be from Ghana were yesterday shot

dead by police in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.

 The State Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) men who carried

out the operation also arrested two other MEMBERS

of the gang who were seriously injured during a

botched attempt on a bureau de change office in

Itoku, Abeokuta.

The gang which fell into the trap set by the police was said to have attempted to rob THE FOREXoperators before they met their waterloo. Parading two of the suspects, Adamu Bamako and Ibrahim Tanko, who were injured during the shoot-out, the state police spokesman, Muyiwa Adejobi, described the suspects as cross-border bandits based in Ghana.

Adejobi, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, described the gang as notorious included nationalities of West African countries who invade

NIGERIA to commit crimes. He confirmed that the

men of the SARS foiled the planned attack. He said

the SARS operatives had been working on intelligence on the activities of the notorious cross-

border gang who had constituted nuisance to the

state, noting that during the exchange of fire, a

senior MEMBER of SARS was injured and has been

treated.

He commended the people of the state for sharing

information with the command. The command lauded

SARS men for their efforts at keeping criminals at bay and appealed to them to sustain their efforts.
