Pictures: Nigerian Army Officers Punish Civilians At Fatgbems, Mile 2 Lagos Filing Station, Big Men Ordered To Lie Down & Face Sun

Fuel marketers have stopped distribution temporarily to protest the Federal Government’s planned removal of fuel subsidy.
So today at Fatgbems filing station in Mile 2, some
civilians reportedly engaged others in a bitter fight while they were queuing to get fuel.
Moments later, the soldiers on duty got hold of them and ordered them to lie down on the ground facing the sun.
After 30 minutes of intense suffering under the sun, the army men walked away to attend to other trouble makers.

7 WAY TECHNOLOGY RUINS YOUR RELATIONSHIP.

We live in the high-technology world full of wonderful gadgets that make our lives simpler. When it comes to building a strong and healthy relationship, technology may play a fatal role. Each day I see many couples sitting in a cafe or park and each of partners looking at their tablets and phones. We often spend more time with our gadgets than with our partners and complain about relationship problems.

Communication is one of the most important things in any relationship. It helps build a happy relationship and start a happy family. Just ask your grandma about how she spent her youth without modern gadgets and how she met your grandfather. I’m more than sure that she will tell you that her youth wasn’t boring and the dates she had with your grandpa were fun and happy. Stop updating your social media accounts each day. Instead, spend more time communicating with your significant other. Here are seven ways technology ruins your relationship:

1. Online flirting
Flirting online is a good way to kill time and make new friends. However, it’s also a number one killer of even the strongest and happiest relationship. My neighbor, who had been with his ex-wife for more than 20 years, found his second love online. This second love wasn’t successful and he couldn’t make up with his ex wife so now he is absolutely lonely. If your partner is talking intimately to his female friend online, you may think it’s not cheating, but you don’t know what will happen tomorrow.

2. Video game addiction
If your partner spends too much time playing video
games, it’s a warning sign. Studies show that many
couples break up because of video game addiction.
Women can also become addicted to video games so pay attention to how much time you spend playing games daily. But the best thing you and your partner can do is to go for a walk and have a small picnic in the park, without any video games and “smart” devices.

3. Health
It’s not a secret that technology affects our health,
especially mental health. You may become anxious,
nervous and depressed because of technology. You may snap at your partner when you don’t really mean to, and this can ruin your relationship. Try to unplug from TV, tablet, computer, and smartphone use as often as possible to save your relationship and health.
4. Phone addiction
Are you addicted to your smartphone? Does your
partner spend too much time with his phone? Phone
addiction is a common thing these days. Many people are trying to get rid of this addiction but it’s not that easy. Recently I had a trip and stayed in a hostel with a couple who spent the whole evening looking at their phones. I couldn’t even speak to them because they were busy with their gadgets. Do you think their relationship will last for long? I think no. Turn off your phones every time you spend time together to improve your relationship.

5. Fights
Fighting with your partner is okay at times, but when you fight with him over technology it’s not healthy. Not only do you waste your precious time on the unimportant things like snooping into your partner’s social media account or his or your friends’ pages, Facebook stalking his ex’s girlfriend or your ex’s new girlfriend, and going through your partner’s phone.

6. Affects your sleep patterns
Whether you suffer from insomnia or your partner has trouble falling asleep every other night, it may be because of technology. Checking your phone or tablet right before sleep is a bad habit that can affect your relationship as well as your sex life. Watching TV before going to bed is a bad habit too.

7. You share too many details on social media
Nowadays it’s trendy to share each detail of your life on social media. But before posting any intimate details of your relationship, consider how your significant other will feel about that. You should also avoid posting any details of your fights. Keep things private to have a long and happy relationship.

Although technology has many benefits, it has much
more disadvantages. Use it wisely to avoid any
misunderstandings, fights and other problems in your
relationship. After all, what’s is more important your
expensive smartphone or your partner? Remember,
technology addiction is similar to drug cravings – it can ruin your whole life.

Bus Conductor Stabs Passenger With Broken Bottle In Badagry Over Fare.

Bus-conductor-600x446

A bus conductor, Ademola Segun, who allegedly stabbed a passenger with a broken bottle on his belly, was on Wednesday brought before a Badagry Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos State.

The accused, 18, whose address is unknown, is facing a charge of assault.

The prosecution said the accused allegedly stabbed a passenger on the bus,Abraham Shedrack, with a broken bottle following an argument over fares.

Inspector Innocent Uko told the court that the accused committed the offence on March 6 at Ajido Bus Stop in Badagry.

“The accused stabbed the passenger on the stomach during an argument between them over the fare to pay. When the conductor asked the accused to pay his fare, the accused gave him a torn note which led to an argument between them. In the process, the accused took a bottle and stabbed the passenger on his stomach. The passenger is still on admission at a private hospital in Badagry,” he said.

Uko noted that the offence contravened Section 171 of Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.

The accused pleaded not guilty to the offence.

Counsel to the accused, Bosipo Awuwu, pleaded with the court to grant him bail on liberal terms.

The Magistrate, Abioldun Etti, in his ruling, granted the accused bail in the sum of N100,000 with a surety in like sum.

He said the surety must provide evidence of tax payment to the Lagos State Government.

Further hearing in the case has been fixed for May 4.

How IBB, Obasanjo, Abacha, Shared Nigeria's Oil Wells.

How IBB, Obasanjo, Abacha, Shared Nigeria's Oil Wells
L-R: IBB, Late Sani Abacha and Olusegun Obasanjo
Editor’s note: The richest oil blocks in Nigeria are owned by a few dozen people while half of the 160 million Nigerians live on less than S1 dollar daily. In this piece by Obinna Akukwe, he explains how  our past leaders started the process of oil block sharing in the country and how it works.

Story Highlights

Discretionary allocation of oil blocks.
The oil block national cake sharing fiesta could take twists according to the mood of the Commander-in-chief at the  particular time.
The process of sharing Nigeria’s oil block national cake.
Investigations into the activities in this sector are futile.
The regime of President Goodluck is not showing any signs of changing the status quo.
(Nigerian Bulletin)- The process of sharing Nigeria’s oil block national cake is as fraudulent now as when Ibrahim Babangida started the process of discretionary allocation of oil blocks to indigenous firms.

Discretionary allocation of oil blocks entails that a president can reward a mistress who performs wonderfully with an oil block with capacity for cumulative yield of over $20 billion dollars without recourse to any process outside of manhood attachments. Babangida, Abacha, Abdulsalami and Obasanjo awarded discretionary oil blocks to friends, associates, family members, party chieftains, security chiefs and all categories of bootlickers, spokespersons and cult members without any laid down procedures.
The recipients of such oil blocks will GET FUNDS from ever willing offshore financiers and partners to graciously settle the benefactors, the awarders, facilitators and the Commander-in-Chief through fronts. These settlements mostly paid into foreign accounts runs into hundreds of millions of dollars according to the potential yield of the block. Sometimes, the awarder (sharer of national cake and direct intermediaries) demand additional stakes in the bidding company. The awarder sends fronts as part of the directorship and management of the bidding firms without leaving a link to them. That is how the oil block national cake is distributed to a few Nigerians.

Signature bonuses which are paid when an INVESTOR successfully bids, wins and signs agreement with the petroleum ministry, running into tens of millions and sometimes hundreds of millions of naira ,is often waived off. There is actually no waiver; rather a diversion of what would have been paid to government t coffers is paid into private purse as appreciation gifts. That is why those in the Petroleum Ministry dread retirement as though it signifies going to hell fire. No matter how little your influence, something substantial must enter your hands especially in hard currency. The nation loses billions of dollars in diverted revenue whenever any round of auction occurs.

OML 110 with high yield OBE oil fields was given Cavendish Petroleum owned by Alhaji Mai Daribe, the Borno Patriarch in 1996 by Sanni Abacha. OBE oil field has estimated over 500 million barrels of oil. In layman’s language and using average benchmark of $100 dollars per barrel, translates to $50 billion dollars worth of oil reserve. When you remove the taxes, royalties and sundry duties worth about 60% of the reserve payable over time you get about $20billion dollars worth of oil in the hands of a family.

OPL 246 was awarded to SAPETRO, a company owned by General Theophilus Danjuma, by Sanni Abacha in 1998. Akpo condensate exports about 300,000 barrels of crude daily.

OML 112 and OML 117 were awarded to AMNI International Petroleum Development Company owned by Colonel Sanni Bello in 1999. Sanni Bello is an inlaw to Abdulsalami Abubakar, former Head of State of Nigeria.

OML 115, OLDWOK Field and EBOK field was awarded to Alhaji Mohammed Indimi from Niger State. Indimi is an inlaw to former Military President Ibrahim Babangida.

OML 215 is operated by Nor East Petroleum Limited owned by Alhaji Saleh Mohammed Gambo.

OML 108 is operated by Express Petroleum Company Limited is owned by Alhaji Aminu Dantata.

OML II3 allocated to Yinka Folawiyo Pet Ltd is owned by Alhaji W.I. folawiyo.

ASUOKPU/UMUTU marginal oil fields is operated by Seplat Petroleum. Seplat is owned by Prince Nasiru Ado Bayero, cousin to the Central Bank Governor Lamido Sanusi. This oil field has the capacity of 300,000 barrels of oil daily. This translates to $30million dollars daily at average benchmark of $100 dollars per barrel. Deducting all sundry taxes, royalties etc , this field can yield $12billion dollars daily for the owners.

Intel owned by Atiku, Yarádua and Ado Bayero has substantial stakes in Nigeria’s oil exploration industry both in Nigeria and Principe and Sao Tome.
AMNI owns two oil blocks OML 112 and OML 117 which it runs Afren plc and Vitol has substantial stakes in oil blocks. Afren plc is operating EBOK oil fields in OML 67. Vitol lifts 300,000 barrels of Nigerian oil daily. Rilwanu Lukman, former OPEC Chairman has stakes in all these named three companies.

OPL 245 was awarded to Malabu Oil& Gas Company by Sanni Abacha. Dan Etete, Abacha’s oil minister owns Malabu Oil. In 2000, Vice President Atiku Abubakar convinced Obasanjo to revoke

OPL 245 given to Malabu Oil. Etete had earlier rejected Atiku’s demand for substantial stakes in the high yield OPL 245 and it attracted the venom of Ota Majesty who revoked the licence. However, in 2006, Obasanjo had mercy on Dan Etete and gave him back his oil block worth over $20 billion dollars.

OPL 289 and OPL 233 was awarded during Obasanjo era to Peter Odili fronts, Cleanwater Consortium, consisting of Clenwater Refinery and RivGas Petroleum and Gas Company. Odili’s brother in law, Okey Ezenwa manages the consortium as Vice Chairman.

OPL 286 is managed by Focus Energy in partnership with BG Group, a British oil concern. Andy Uba has stakes in Focus Energy and his modus operandi is such that you can never see his name in any listings yet he controls OPL and OML through proxies.

OPL 291 was awarded to Starcrest Energy Nigeria Limited, owned by Emeka Offor by Obasanjo . Immediately after the award, Starcrest sold the oil block to Addax Petroleum Development Company Limited (ADDAX) Addax paid Sir Emeka Offor a farming fee of $35million dollars and still paid the signature bonus to the government. Emeka Offor still retains stake in ADDAX operations in Nigeria.

Mike Adenuga’s Conoil is the oldest indigenous oil exploration industry in Nigeria. Conoil has six oil blocks and exports above 200,000 barrels of crude daily.
The oil block national cake sharing fiesta could take twists according to the mood of the Commander-in –Chief at the particular time. In 2006, Obasanjo revoked OPL 246 which Abacha gave to Danjuma because he refused to support the tenure elongation bid of the Ota Majesty. In 2000, Obasanjo had earlier revoked OPL 241 given to Dan Etete under the advice Atiku. However, when the Obasanjo-Atiku faceoff started, the Ota Majesty made a u-turn and handed back the oil block to Etete.

During the time of Late President Yarádua , a panel headed by Olusegun Ogunjana was set up to investigate the level of transparency in the award of oil blocks. The panel recommended that 25 oil blocks awarded by the Obasanjo be revoked because the manner they were obtained failed to meet the best practices in the industry. Sadiq Mahmood, permanent secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum endorsed the report to then president with all its recommendations. As a result of the report Yarádua revoked eleven oil blocks.

In April 2011 Mike Adenuga attempted to buy Shell’s OML 30 for $1.2 billion dollars. The Minister for Petroleum and Nigeria’s most powerful woman refused the sale of the OML30 to Adenuga citing national interest. This block was later sold to Heritage Oil for $800 million dollars eleven months later.

This oil block business is so lucrative that Danjuma’s Sapetro divested of its INVESTMENT in Akpo condensate for $1billion dollars. This business is second to none in Nigeria. That is why any attempt to investigate the activities in this sector will always be futile. The money is so much that they give bribes in millions of dollars. A birthday gift or child naming gift from an oil block owner to a government official could be as paltry as $2million dollars, and if the official’s father died, the condolence gift could reach mere $3 million dollars. When they want to bribe legislators, it is in millions of dollars and any ongoing investigation ends within weeks. They are so confident that with excess money they can buy up Nigeria and they are succeeding. In the name of competitive bidding, which Obasanjo introduced in 2005, Officials bring companies overnight and through processes best described as secretive and voodooist they award blocks to party faithful, fronts and phoney companies.

During the third term agenda, Obasanjo was deceived that the allocation of oil block to party faithfuls is to fund the third term agenda. With the failure of the third term, the beneficiaries went home with their fortunes and thanked God or Allah for buttering their bread. Senator Andy Uba co ordinate the award of the last rounds of oil block by Obasanjo in 2005 and 2007. The then minister of petroleum, Edwin Daukoru was a mere errand boy who took instructions from the presidential aide.

The regime of President Goodluck is not showing any signs of changing the status quo. Controversies have trailed the activities of the Minister of Petroleum and many players in the Industry accuse her of demanding stakes from every oil deal. It is hoped that President Goodluck Jonathan will remember his transformational promise to Nigerians and endeavour to face the hawks in the oil industry. The angst in the air is so much that if this monster of illegal allocation of oil block is not addressed, the much touted revolution could begin all of a sudden and all who condoned this illegality at the expense of hungry Nigerians may have nowhere to hide.

The religious leaders should tell these oil block beneficiaries, awarders, fronts, brokers and all involved in short changing the Nigerian people to find means or returning all these back to the Nigerian people, through massive development projects. The voice of impoverished Nigerians is crying daily and if care is not taken the God who delivered Nigeria from Abacha dark days will visit them with calamities untold. With the rot in this oil block awarding system and other loot all over the Nigerian nation, something worse than revolution may happen.

2015 UTME: 90,000 applicants won't get Unilorin admission - VC.

About 107,000 candidates seeking admission into University of Ilorin have gotten the shock of their lives from the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof Abdulganiyu Ambali who has revealed that only 12,000 would be admitted into 2015/2016 session at the institution.

No fewer than 90,000 applicants that wrote the recently concluded Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination Computer-based Test organised by the JAMB would be disappointed, Ambali regretted.

“For example, at the 2014 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), no fewer than 105,000 candidates applied to study at the University of Ilorin... this year, no fewer than 107,000 candidates also applied to study in the University. Unfortunately, we can only accommodate maybe between 11,000 and 12,000 candidates. So, imagine disappointing up to 90,000 admission seekers. That means those 90,000 should have alternatives apart from Unilorin,” Unilorin Bulletin quoted the VC saying in a copy obtained by Pilot Education.

He added: "If you consider how many spaces we have for them, the universities that we have are too small to meet the demands for tertiary education in the country. Even with improvement in funding and already existing universities, we still need more universities. It is also important to increase the capacity of the present ones and increase funding to match their needs."

According to the Bulletin, the VC also set agenda for the President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari, urging him to pay greater attention to the nation's education sector with a view to raising the quality of education at all levels.

Ambali urged the incoming administration to accord priority to the welfare of teachers at all levels of education as well as improve on the funding of educational institutions in order to guarantee sound and qualitative education in that country.

"I expect the incoming President to empower us to be able to carry out the three responsibilities given universities by the Federal Government; that is teaching, research and community service. That means that we need more funding to be able to achieve all these roles. To be able to carry out both effective teaching and learning, there is also the need to improve on the environment within and outside the classroom."

The Vice-Chancellor identified infrastructural development and stable power supply as critical factors that can drive effective teaching and learning, especially at this time when teaching is ICT -Information and Communication Technology - driven.

He added that electricity supply is central to the success of any research endeavour, pointing out that research is carried out in the laboratories and it will be undermined if electricity supply is unstable.

"I want the Federal Government to address the issue of power supply not only to the universities but also to all Nigerian homes because when researchers leave the laboratories, they have to go home. If they get home and cannot sleep comfortably, that means the following day, they will not be mentally and psychologically ready to carry out their responsibilities effectively," Prof. Ambali said.

Prophet Who Predicted Buhari's Victory Reveals Again.

Prophet Who Predicted Buhari's Victory Reveals Again
The popular Celestial Church of Christ prophet, Prophet Marcus Korede Tibetan, who predicted correctly the victory of the president-elect, Buhari, and that of the Lagos state governor-elect, Akinwunmi Ambode, is out with another set of foresights.

The prophet predicted that President Jonathan would be embarrassed and disgraced in the elections while Buhari would win and assume the presidency by May. He also said that the life of the then APC presidential candidate might be cut short, and that Buhari might not finish his tenure of four years.

The prophet in a new interview with Encomium has revealed new things about Nigeria. While talking to Encomium from Chicago, Illinois, United States of America (where he’s on a revival and evangelical mission), the man of God reversed his prophesy on Buhari dying in office. Though he warned him not to waste any time to change Nigeria, Prophet Tibetan said God has given General Buhari a new lease of life like biblical King Hezekiah. Prophet Tibetan also spoke extensively about the senate president, David Mark, and declared that Governor Ayo Fayose will not see the end of 2015 as the Ekiti state governor. Read excepts from the engaging interview below:

Nigerians and the world at large are surprised that all your prophesies concerning the country and the 2015 general elections have come to pass. How does it feel, sir?

It’s not for me to take the glory of fulfillment of God’s word (quotes relevant scriptures to support his position). So, no genuine prophet should take the credit of this. God will always honour His word. At the same time, we give God the glory.

So, Buhari would change Nigeria?

Yes, the Lord said there’s going to be change.  He said we should congratulate Nigerians for taking the strong decision to liberate themselves from bad leadership. The Lord said Nigerians should welcome the spirit of change as it is taking place not just only in the political arena but across all families and up to the kitchens in various homes. God said He is the One that brought this change and all Nigerians must embrace it and be in the spirit of WAI (War Against Indiscipline).

But in your interview with us before the Presidential elections, you said he might not complete his tenure?  Has that changed?

Buhari will not die in office. God prolonged the life of King Hezekiah in the Bible and this is Buhari’s portion. He won’t die in office. He has a job to do.  There is no time to waste. Mr. President-elect should hit the ground running on his first day in office because he already has the template of what he wants to do to liberate Nigeria since 2003. Remember I told the world in my Prediction 2015 book that General Buhari is not chosen by God but by the people of Nigeria to liberate them and since he is the one the people want, God answered their prayer by giving him the leadership of the country.  Buhari should run the affairs of Nigeria without fear or favor because he has a limited time to do this work. The Bible made it clear that due to sin and other unforeseen element of our daily life, the number of years given to man in Biblical term is 70 years. He is over 70.  Anything beyond that is grace; General Buhari should take note of this and change the fortune of this country without fear or favor. This new regime will be the one to give us a credible census. Before two years, the government must carry out a census to ascertain how many people were killed by Boko Haram and how many Nigerians are living presently. This is good for national planning.

Many are worried that the crop of leaders we have now can’t save us?

The new leadership must be ready to follow their CHANGE mantra to the letter.  It is not about declaring assets alone.  Each ministerial appointee should be given a portion in either the Holy Quran or the Holy Bible to make a specific oath of allegiance to service upon him or herself that if  ‘I will be taking Nigeria back to the corruption era in any way, let this and this and that happen to me and my family.’  For the Christian Ministers, the book of Joshua Chapter 6 verse 26 should be used where Joshua charged the Israelites and it read thus: “Cursed be the man before the Lord who rises up and builds this city Jericho; he shall lay the foundation with his first born, and with his youngest he shall set up its gates.’

So, for any incoming minister who will take Nigeria back to the era of massive corruption and looting, let that person lay the foundation of his corrupt act with his first born and round off his service in government with his last child. This is also to be applied to Muslim ministers with a corresponding portion used in the Holy Quran. The traditional worshippers should also be made to take an oath with an item of their religious belief.

General Buhari should not take any ministerial nominee based on political party affiliation. Don’t take names from Obasanjo or anybody and if at all you must take, such a person should go through the normal, standard screening process and if he passes the test, good for him and if not he should be dumped. General Buhari should look at the crop of very intelligent Nigerians in various countries of the world like Britain, Canada, America, Australia, France and many other places. Some of the finest brains in those countries are Nigerians. Some of the finest professors of sciences and social culture are equally Nigerians; these are the kind of people General Buhari need to run this in-coming regime. He should make it 60-40 affair; 60 percent Diaspora based Nigerians and 40 percent local heads and those 40 percent should be the very best of our brains as there is no room for setback in this government. Buhari alone cannot enforce the change but his team of experts will do a great job that will enforce the desired change in Nigeria.

But don’t you think Nigerians have a lot to do in this era of change?

First, every Christian in Nigeria should help General Buhari and Professor Osinbajo with special prayers with Psalm 91 and Psalm 37 every day. This will go a long way in making every aspect of governance run and the driver, General Buhari will be able to run the affairs of this great country very well. The Muslims should also find ways to assist the government with prayers; so should other faiths in the country. Secondly, Nigerians must be told that yam and tomatoes will never germinate from the screens of our Laptop or tablets. So, everybody must be prepared to go back to the farm. Farm is where the greatest economic liberation lies. We must learn to use our hoes and cutlasses in terms of small- scale farming. And let every government at each level bring on the tractors and let’s utilize all our fallow lands. The Lord said we should salute the northerners for keeping the nation strong and alive with their food produce in the last four decades but right now.  Every part of the country must join the north to produce food because we cannot raise food produce on the surface of our laptop or computer. We have to embrace mechanised farming.

What again should be done?

Nigeria should not exist again.

How do you mean, Prophet?

But I’ve always said, we should be called the United States of Nigeria.

What’s your take on corruption?

Corruption must be arrested totally. Nigerians should not take the issue of corruption with kid gloves as the era of wanton corruption is gone and our country is about to witness a massive change that will touch every aspect of our lives.  The spirit of Buhari/Idiagbon should return. For instance, if you suspect anyone in your neighborhood who is opulent and living above his means of earning or just became rich overnight, you should report him to anti-corruption agencies and let them investigate him. Former leaders who stole government money should return all the money stolen. The new Buhari/Osinbajo regime must not borrow any money with the kind of money in stolen hands. The amount of money in private loots and other places is enough for a government to kick start an economic initiative that will change the face of the country for life.  The money seized from Abacha, Tafa Balogun, Cecilia Ibru, Stella Oduah and Alison Madueke is enough to run a credible economic system. There are more people who should be encouraged to return their loots and we will see a greater Nigeria.

Should Buhari probe government officials?

Yes, Buhari should probe anyone that has looted the commonwealth of the country since 1999.

You’ve always been critical of owners of private universities in Nigeria. Why, sir?

Government must find out where and how they got money to establish such institutions and why do they take such exorbitant amount of money to give education. Government must look into the education sector and run that sector itself; all these private institutions should be monitored by government and those ran by pastors and religious organizations should be taken back and run by the government as that is not what the lord asked these men of God to do. I have said it once, that all Nigerian General Overseers need deliverance and today we can all see my point because they are corrupt. They got free education from the missionaries but today, they won’t allow people in this generation and next generation have access to free education.  They used free offering from worshipers to build highly monetized institutions that even their church members cannot attend. This must stop, it must totally stop. The incoming government must uphold justice and fairness.

You’ve been hammering on the President of the Senate, David Mark. What’s the matter with the fifth term senator?

In my 2015 Prediction book, I advised David Mark to retire from politics and let younger ones come on board.  As an elder statesman and president of the Senate, you allowed President Jonathan to waste tax payer’s money on National Conference with no result. The treasury is looted without qualms as the government packs physical cash to South Africa in private jets. To the members of the 8th Senate, David Mark must be avoided like a plague. He must never be given any portfolio, let him just be an ordinary floor member.  This is the position of the Lord on him because he joined in ruining this country and the Lord said he might be jailed like Obasanjo.

Sir, you told us that no force would stop the Lion of Bourdillion, Asiwaju in Lagos now Ambode is Governor. He also delivered the three APC senators, in addition to electing APC’s Buhari president?

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State, Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state and former President Olusegun Obasanjo are heroes who saved Nigeria and Nigerians from death. They are the Gideons of our time and their role in liberating Nigeria from problem is noted before God. God is happy with Tinubu, Obasanjo, Rochas Okorocha, Amaechi and Murtala Nyako, the former Governor of Adamawa state. Nigerians should give kudos to them for their heroic act.  Anyone who equally joined in liberating this country is a Gideonite.  However, the Lord said they should leave Buhari and Osinbajo to do the work as what God wants to use them to achieve in Nigeria is beyond any human gesture. There should not be any interference from any quarters.

What are the major tasks before Buhari/Osinbajo?

It’s power and judicial reform.  They are key.  The Lord said every importer of generator in this country will be out of business by 2020 as the Lord is set to arrest all the challenges in the Nigeria’s power sector. General Buhari and Professor Osinbajo should carry out strong and merciless reforms in the power sector and the judiciary. If these two key areas are taken care of,Nigeria will truly be free. If the judiciary works, justice will bring equality to everyone and if the power sector works, there will be development in all areas of the socio-economic life of the country. The new government must investigate all economic malpractices in the power sector right from the 1999 to date and anyone found guilty should be prosecuted. All sectors, all industries should also be revamped and status quo changed.

Let’s return to the general election.  You predicted there would be no violence, but there were plenty of that especially in Rivers and some other states?

The Lord said he didn’t want bloodshed for 2015 elections yet the people of Rivers state killed for the election. The Lord said he is bringing a terrible event on Rivers state and the people must start asking for forgiveness for the souls they wasted in that election. God said He is going to punish Rivers state for going against His will and there will be calamity in the state except they seek God’s face and do the needful.

Nigerian lawmakers have been taking so much money, what’s the panacea to this?

The Lord said this reform is His design and the change is total. Legislators should not earn more than what lecturers are earning in higher institutions because the lecturers are more productive than the legislators as they teach and build new Nigerians every year. So, a legislator should not earn more than a lecturer or head master of a secondary school. This is what the Lord wants and that is what the Buhari/Osinbajo government should implement. Majority of these legislators collecting millions upon millions can’t even boast of a single law they have enacted to the glory of fatherland.

Is there anything Buhari should do before moving into the Aso Rock presidential villa?

Yes, if General Buhari want to run his term successfully and does not want the fate of late President Umar Yar’Adua to befall him, he must make a complete and total cleansing of Aso Rock Villa before he moves in. Between now and when he would be sworn in, General Buhari must not step into Aso Rock Villa for any meeting either in the day or in the night. And after he is sworn in on May 29, he must ensure that America, Britain and Germany help him snoop around the entire Aso Rock vicinity to detect anything that might have been planted in there for him. An entirely new security measure should be put in place to ensure the total security and safety of the new landlord. Until then, the General could run his own “White House” from anywhere but Aso Rock.

Will Ekiti State Governor still be impeached?

The Lord does not do mistake with his words, Ayo Fayose has just nine months to stay on that seat after which he will be going to jail. I don’t really have much to say on this.  I have told you what the Lord will do on December 20 when I was launching my prediction book in Nigeria. Ayo Fayose will not see the end of 2015 as Ekiti State Governor.

Not long ago, the general overseer of the Messenger of God Assembly, Adavi, Kogi state, Apostle Moses Abdullahi, said God has a purpose for Nigeria in view of the forthcoming general election. He further said President Jonathan is part of God’s plan for Nigeria.

As Dollar Drops, Nigerians Panic Over Naira.

As Dollar Drops, Nigerians Panic Over Naira

The dollar sank to its lowest level in more than two months as the CURRENCY MARKET adopted a markedly dovish view on the United States monetary policy after data showed the economy virtually stagnating in the first three months of the year.

The Financial Times reports that with the market awaiting the result of a meeting of the Federal Reserve policy makers, this has put under pressure government bonds and equities on both sides of the Atlantic. This is reported to be so in Europe as the euro broke above key resistance levels, further aided by more signs that the European Central Bank’s quantitative easing programme was helping to ease deflation pressures and improve credit conditions.
By midday in New York, the dollar index — a gauge of the currency’s value against a weighted basket of peers — was down 1.1 per cent at 95.09, the lowest since the end of February. In mid-March, the measure reached a 12-year high above 100. According to Ayodeji Ebo, an analyst at Afrinvest West Africa Limited, a research firm, the drop in the dollar might not impact the naira immediately.
However, he said that if the fall persisted, it might affect foreign portfolio inflow. He said, “The fall in dollar’s value may affect the FPI if it persists; it may not have direct impact on the naira immediately. However, it may have a very little impact if it persists for a long time.”
The US economy grew at an annualised pace of 0.2 per cent in the first quarter, according to the preliminary estimate from the Department of Commerce — well short of the expected one per cent expansion and down sharply from the 2.2 per cent rate seen in the fourth quarter of 2014. Analysts highlighted that the data — at least to some degree — reflected temporary factors such as port closings and bad weather, and suggested there could be a repeat of the pattern of recent years of a soft first quarter followed by a rebound
“Since 2010, the average rate of first-quarter real GDP growth has been 0.6 per cent, versus an average of 2.9 per cent in the remaining three quarters,” noted Michael Gapen, an economist at Barclays.
“We expect a bounce back in growth to 3.0 per cent in the second quarter, driven by a solid 3.5 per cent rise in personal consumption. However, some of the weakness in structures investment and net trade is likely to persist as the effects of a stronger dollar and lower OIL PRICES constrain activity in these sectors of the economy over time.”
The move in the dollar contrasted sharply with the action in government bond markets, where the yield on the 10-year US Treasury bond jumped by nine basis points to 2.06 per cent and that on the equivalent-maturity German Bund leapt 11bp to 0.28 per cent. The euro was up 1.8 per cent at $1.1171 — a factor that contributed to a hefty 2.2 per cent slide for the FTSE Eurofirst 300. The equity index has now fallen 3.7 per cent in the past two days. On Wall Street, the S&P 500 was down 0.8 per cent.
On Wednesday, data showed that German consumer prices fell 0.1 per cent in April, for a year-on-year increase of 0.4 per cent — up from 0.3 per cent in March.
“German headline inflation should gradually continue to increase,” said Carsten Brzeski, an economist at the ING. However, as long as even the largest and strongest eurozone economy does not show any signs of inflationary overheating, the ECB will continue QE and hush any tapering discussion.”
Other figures showed that private sector loans in the eurozone had risen in March for the first time since May 2012.
“Improved bank lending supports the recovery and we continue to look for GDP growth of 1.6 per cent in 2015, compared to the consensus of 1.4 per cent,” said Pernille Bomholdt Nielsen, a senior analyst at Danske Bank.
Divyang Shah, a global strategist at IFR Markets, noted the US and eurozone data releases but added that his preferred explanation for the action in currency and fixed income markets was simply that positioning had once again become stretched.
“The two favoured core positions over the last few months were to be long eurozone bonds and long the dollar,” he said. “Since 10-year Bund yields hit a low just under 5bp [last week] both of these trends had come under pressure with little in the way of further upside.
The Fed was not the only central bank in action on Wednesday. Sweden’s Riksbank unexpectedly left interest rates unchanged, although it did announce a SKr40-50bn expansion of asset purchases.
“We regard the Riksbank’s move as warranted, given that ECB’s QE continues to put upward pressure on the krona and, as a consequence, downward pressure on the Swedish inflation outlook,” said Chiara Silvestre, an economist at UniCredit.
Brent oil was up 2.2 per cent at a 2015 high of $66.09 a barrel, helped by some bullish US inventories data. But the sharp drop in the dollar failed to provide a boost for GOLD, with the metal down $2 at $1,209 an ounce.

OPC President Frederick Fasheun Overthrown
Fredrick Fasheun,
Fredrick Fasheun, the founder of the Oodua Peoples Congress, was sacked from the position of the organization’s president.

He was overthrown by a faction of the group led by Comrade Dare Adesope, PM News reports.

The news was announced on April 28, Tuesday, in Ikotun, Lagos, at the OPC secretariat. Explaining the reason behind the removal, Adesope said that the Congress lost confidence in the leadership of Fasheun who had thrown the organisation into crisis and politics.

Adesope confirmed that backed by several OPC members, he had been declared the new president noting that the Congress was not established “to run monarchical system of government. How can one person be directing its affairs for 20 consecutive years?”

“Fasheun is no more the president of OPC and he was removed because of his reprehensible act and that it is high time the Yoruba leaders joined forces with the new leadership of the congress to move the region forward.”

Speaking about the further plans, he claimed that the new management of the OPC would act  in consonance with the 1999 Constitution, as opposed to “autocracy where one person took all the decisions on behalf of the organisation without consulting the National Executive Council”.

BREAKING NEWS - Impeachment: Jonathan tells Fayose to resign, says time of impunity is over.

Ayodele Fayose

Jonathan was said to have told Fayose that the time of impunity in Nigeria is over and that he (Jonathan) is committed to the rule of law. “As you can see, I am already packing my personal belongings out of the Villa, back to my Village, I cannot influence any process, we must allow the law to run its full course, we cannot continue to disrupt due process, that is not good for the country.”

According to a source, Fayose (and the Ondo state Governor, Olusegun MImiko) were deliberately absent at the post election meeting held with Jonathan in Aso Rock because of the dismal performance of the PDP in the South West despite the last-minute huge INVESTMENT and the promises that the zone will be delivered to the party.

The 19 All Progressives Congress lawmakers in the Ekiti State House of Assembly have begun moves that may lead to impeachment proceedings against Governor Ayodele Fayose.
The factional Speaker of the Ekiti state House of Assembly, Dr Adewale Omirin, had last week, forwarded a notice of gross misconduct to the governor, a copy of the notice was also sent to his deputy, Dr. Olusola Eleka.

But Fayose in his characteristic manner said the APC lawmakers should stop acting like “jesters”, describing the purported impeachment notice as the “joke of the century.”
According to him, the script being acted by the APC is a failed one because no one, no matter how highly placed, will be allowed to test the will of the Ekiti people.

In the letter by the 19 lawmakers titled, “Re: Notice of Allegations of Gross Misconduct,” sent to Fayose, the APC lawmakers listed eight impeachable offences against the governor. These offences bordered on impunity, brigandage, stalking and other constitutional breaches.

These included alleged invasion of the House of Assembly with thugs and miscreants, instigating an unconstitutional takeover of the House by seven legislators to sit in contravention of Section 96(2) of the 1999 Constitution, and prevention of the 19 APC legislators from performing their duties with the use of security agents and armed thugs.

Other allegations listed in the notice are: sponsoring an unlawful impeachment process in the house, spending Ekiti State funds without the requisite constitutional approval in contravention of the constitution and running the government without legally constituted Executive Council in contravention of Section 192(2) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

They also accused the governor of operating an illegal 2014 budget as well as sponsoring and instigating illegal sitting of the House in contravention of Section 96(1) of the Constitution.
It was also learnt that moves by the embattled Governor Fayose, who published some death-wish adverts against the candidacy of the President-elect, Gen Muhammadu Buhari, to seek a truce with Buhari has hit brick walls.

Fayose was said to have sent some emissaries through some traditional rulers in Ekiti state to help him appeal to Buhari for forgiveness, saying that his attacks on him were not personal but part of politicking.

The Supreme Court has also reserved ruling till April 14 in the appeal find by the APC in Ekiti state challenging the emergence of Fayose as governor in the June 21, governorship polls, in which the PDP won in all the 16 local governments of the state.

Patience Jonathan's Role In The Sack of Police IG Revealed.

Police chief Suleiman Abba has lost his job, becoming the first major casualty of Goodluck Jonathan’s loss in the just concluded presidential elections. He has since been replaced by Solomon Arase.

The Nation, in a report last Saturday, has revealed that Jonathan was under pressure to give Abba the boot - for alleged security and protocol breaches.

Credible sources in the presidency have disclosed that First Lady Patience Jonathan played a pivotal role in the events leading to the sack of IGP Abba.

Abba, The Nation learnt, had earlier been summoned by the President to defend himself against allegations by some PDP leaders and security chiefs regarding his role in the March 28 and April 11 elections.

Abba got the push because he rebuffed a presidential directive to make some “strategic moves” that would have favoured the ruling party in the two elections, the sources said.

One of them specifically mentioned Abba’s reluctance to redeploy the Assistant Inspector General in charge of Zone 6 Tunde Ogunsakin, from Rivers State to Cross River on the eve of the gubernatorial and Houses of Assembly elections.

The aim, it was gathered, was to enable the ruling party perfect what was described as its ectoral heist in some states in the Southsouth.

A source said when it became apparent that Abba was “using delay tactics” in carrying out the order, the First Lady, who was with some of her aides in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, instead of Bayelsa State where the President had gone to vote, called Dr. Jonathan demanded an immediate implementation of the directive, it was said.

Miffed by what she considered to be an affront, said the source, the First Lady said Abba would regret his tardiness.

Said the source: “I can categorically tell you that Abba would have saved his job but for what happened on the eve of the governorship election when we were in Port Harcourt.

Could you believe that despite an initial signal from the authorities that Ogunsakin should be moved to Calabar, Abba was playing games with the directives? He was apparently not in the mood to comply. The President had to call him directly before the order was carried out, following a complaint made to him by the First Lady.

“I am also aware that the authorities are not happy with his conduct during the presidential election, especially his seeming closeness to the president-elect and his presence at presentation of Certificate of Return to Gen. Buhari in Abuja.

"He would have been allowed to stay on till the inauguration of the new government but for ignoring the wishes of the wife of the President.”

Jonathan is said to be demanding loyalty from all Service Chiefs until he leaves office on May 29.

Olamide [Badoo] And His Grass To Grace Story!

Olamide   Baddo

When grassroots-to-limelight Yoruba rapper, Dagrin, died in a road crash in 2010, the lamentation that greeted his passage had hardly died down when some other up-and-coming singers started scheming to fill the vacuum created
As is done when star artistes pass on, they wanted to take advantage of the gap, with some of them not minding becoming new Dagrin...

But as it normally happens in such a circumstance. All of them failed to realise their dreams. The lesson they failed to learn is that, no artiste can really replace another one. That is why no one has been able to replace a Fela, Tupac or Sikiru Ayinde Barrister in the real sense of it. People may try to be opportunistic but it will be extremely difficult to convince listeners or the audience that the dead man has resurrected.

Instead of aping the fallen hero, perhaps the best thing to do is to hone one’s talent and work hard at one’s style, especially if it is close to that of the deceased. If it is done well, the market will have no other option than to look in one’s direction. This seems to be how rave-of-the-moment and weird Yoruba rapper, Olamide has proved wiser than his peers who were trying to ape Dagrin.

Also called Young Erikina, the artiste has demonstrated much versatility in his songs, Eni Duro and Bend down Low, to the extent that he has broken into the league of the big players. While it has been rumoured that a major telecoms player has struck a N25m deal with him, D’Banj’s new strategic romance with Olamide made him (Olamide) the subject on the lips of many followers of the sector. Apart from featuring him in a song, there are reports that the younger act has been signed onto D’Banj’s label, a move that, many believe, is going to be mutually rewarding.

Such a move would naturally make some guys remember D’Banj’s epic divorce with Don Jazzy, and either sees the romance with the younger act either as a survivalist ploy or a strategic one. But the fact is it is a good story for Olamide and a sign that he is doing well and may just be one of the artistes to dictate the space in the next few years.

Although there has not been any official confirmation, D’banj’s younger brother, Kay Switch, welcomed Olamide to the family on Twitter on Wednesday. Tweeting via his handle, @kayswitch, Kay Switch stated, “Welcome to the family, Baddo.” Baddo is Olamide’s nick name. The music star is currently in Atlanta with D’banj for a music performance.

Chelsea’s EDEN HAZARD Named PFA Player Of The Year.

Chelsea winger Eden Hazard
The Belgium winger has inspired the Blues to what
will surely be their fifth English top-flight title and
beats off competition from David De Gea and Harry
Kane, among others

Chelsea winger Eden Hazard has been named the PFA Player of the Year, beating stiff competition from Manchester United’s David De Gea and Tottenham’s Harry Kane.
Hazard has played a pivotal role in Chelsea’s march to the Premier League title this season, scoring 13 goals and laying on eight assists.

While some of his team-mates have fallen out of form in 2015 – suficiently so, in the case of Cesc Fabregas, to fall out of the PFA Team of the Year – Hazard has maintained the high level of form which he showed in the first half of the campaign.

Last weekend he scored the decisive goal against
Manchester United at Stamford Bridge, which finally
killed off Louis van Gaal’s faint hopes of winning the title, which came a week after laying on a late, important winner for Fabregas at Queens Park Rangers.
“I’m very happy. One day I want to be the best and what I did this season is play very well, Chelsea played very well,” Hazard said on Sunday evening.
“I don’t know if I deserve to win but it is good for me. It is better to be voted by the players – they know
everything about football.
“Personally I have played a good season, I have been
there in the big games and I scored a lot of important goals, this is why I’m better this season.”

Hazard’s eye-catching skills and important goals have
given him the edge over his Premier League colleagues, including Kane and De Gea, who came second and third respectively.
The United goalkeeper has been crucial to his team’s
progression this season, particularly in the early months when he made a number of spectacular saves to help bail out a creaky defence as Van Gaal experimented with the team he inherited from David Moyes.
Tottenham striker Kane provided the most impressive competition for Hazard. The 21-year-old has scored 30 goals – 20 in the Premier League – in a stunning breakthrough season at White Hart Lane.
The Englishman has been a central member of Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs project and he earned his first international call-up earlier this season as a result.
Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho, Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez and Chelsea striker Diego Costa, who has been hampered by injuries and suspensions in 2015, were also nominated for the award.

I REGRET FVCKING KIM KARDASHIANS ON CAMERA – RAY J. CONFESSES

kim-kardashian-ray-j

Ray J, a one time Kim Kardashians’s boyfriend and controversial singer is putting his cards on the table in his brand new song that includes no images of Kim K but a phrase that says he’s finally ready to let go and move on with his life. unlike his ex Kim Kardashian, The S*xtape Ruined his own Career While it sky rocketed hers..

In “Never Shoulda Did That”, Ray confesses and perhaps apologizes for a bunch of crap he’s done. But the line that will have Kim and the entire Kardashian family’s ears ringing will be, “f***ing bitches on camera, shouldn’t a did that s***.”

He also cries about taking drugs, fighting in clubs, yelling at friends, and cheating on his GF, Princess Love – who reportedly features in the cameo – maybe that’s her drunkenly weeping on a voice mail in the song.
But the truth is Ray J may sing he shouldn’t have banged Kim, but we know his bank account screams otherwise. Because he’s still making coins and notes off of “Kim K Superstar s*x tape!”

Or maybe the dude geniunely regrets all his actions!
