The election tribunal’s manual examination and re-counting of vote papers used for the election discovered that over one hundred thousand illegal votes were abandoned in support of Governor Aregbesola in nearly all the Local establishments in the states.
Majority of these printed vote papers are from Ekiti state election in favour of Aregbesola (APC), were exposed in local government like Osogbo, Olorunda, Ejigbo, Ede North, Irewole, Ila-Orogun, Irepodun and others Aregbesola (APC) demanded his victory.
Tribunal delayed meeting to 30th of October, 2014 with newly chosen Judges as members. Justice E.N. Ikpejime from Benue State, will work for as chairman, Justice V.I Ofesi from Delta State and Justice Kutigi from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja are members.
Omisore now held more valid votes in the Osun state governorship election and according to Hope for Nigeria, if the new Tribunal members prove the re-counted results, Osun state will surely be having a new governor in couple of weeks to come.
It would be recalled that in the results announced by INEC after the gubernatorial election in Osun, Omisore was beaten hands down by Aregbesola with about 101,937 votes

Senator Omisore who denied the results of the election held on 9 August, 2014, supposed that there were massive wrongdoings and colossal fraud committed by the winner of the polls, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
