“Buhari Never Said He Will Make Naira Equal To Dollar” – APC.

The Presidential winning party, All Progressive Congress have denied claims that their Presidential Candidate, Gen. Muhammed Buhari (retd) have promised that he will make the Naira equal to the dollar.

The Director, Policies and Strategy of the APC campaign group, Bolaji Abdullahi, made this clarification on Tuesday at the Nigeria Political Parties Discussion Series (NPPDS) in Abuja.

He stated that what the President-Elect said was “the current exchange rate was unacceptable”:

“Buhari never said, ‘I will bring naira at par with the dollars’, he said the current exchange rate was unacceptable.We are going to restructure the way we educate our youths. We cannot continue to educate our youths in the way of the 1960s,”
