The state Coordinator, Agro Mall, Mr Tope Amujo, who gave the advice in an interview with newsmen in Ilorin, restated government's commitment to modern farming for sustainable food security in the state.

Amujo said Agro Mall was established in 2013 to compliment the state Agricultural Modernisation Master plan. He said the objective was to ensure one hundred percent of youth inclusion in agriculture through an integrated training farm centre. According to him, Agro Mall was designed seed system plan for farmers and provide access to agricultural input, finance extension and produce market through the centre.

The Coordinator said the centre had partnered the United Bank of Africa to register farmers in a centralised database on agricultural activities in the state. He, therefore, urged farmers in the state to embrace modern farming technology to ensure food security and boost their production.
